Monsignor McGolrick Park is not only a shady nook for the highly intoxicated, sun burnt residents of Greenpoint Brooklyn to nap, but also the meeting grounds for the latest love duo, Aly and Randy. It was actually their love for toast and eggs that brought them together. Walking home through McGolrick Park to their respective apartments, Aly was making her way from Met Supermarket and Randy from Busy Bee Market; both with a loaf of bread and some free range eggs, they accidentally bumped into each other and Aly's eggs came crashing down on the cement. Soon after, they learned two things; it was true that eggs could fry on the cement in the hot summer sun, and they were both singer songwriters. Aly had just released her follow up to "Clara Von," entitled "Wide Awake," under the name Alison Lefevre and Skidmore Fountain’s Randy Bergida was near completing his 2009 release "Firebug."

Being that Aly had no eggs Randy offered to make eggs for the two, and this would give them a chance to play music together. Well, they couldn't get enough of each other, and among other things, they began writing and recording new songs under the name Aly and Randy. They are currently filming multiple videos, recording brand new original songs, and performing as a duo throughout New York City. They played their debut to a packed room at Pete's Candy Store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. They are currently doing a Tour of the "P" clubs (Pianos, Pete's etc.) in New York. If there are any "P" clubs interested in booking them, they are just asking for a flight and a small guarantee ;)
